NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR 2025 AND THE SCHEDULING OF THE NOVEMBER 2024 TOWN BOARD MEETING FOR THE TOWN OF OTISCO
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Otisco, County of Onondaga, State of New York, will meet at the Town Hall, 1924 Barker Street, Tully (Otisco), New York 13159 on the 7th day of November 2024, at 6:30 o’clock P.M., for the purpose of conducting a Public Hearing on the Town’s Preliminary Budget for 2025.
A copy of the Preliminary Budget for 2025 for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2025 has been completed and is filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, 1924 Barker Street, Tully (Otisco), New York 13159, where it is available for public inspection and copying at regular copying charges during normal business hours. At such Public Hearing, the Town Board will review the Town’s Preliminary Budget for 2025, and will hear all persons interested in discussing the Preliminary Budget. Written and oral statements will be taken at that time. Time limitations may be imposed for each oral statement, if necessary.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting for November 2024 will be held on November 7, 2024 immediately following the Public Hearing.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE thatpursuant to Town Law §108, the following are the proposed yearly salaries of the Town Officers:
Supervisor $ 10,000.00
Councilman (4) $ 3,400.00 (each)
Town Clerk $ 25,700.00
Town Justice $ 10,400.00
Assessor (Chairman) $ 4,800.00
Assessor (2) $ 4,100.00 (each)
Highway Superintendent $ 68,000.00
